TCP.

From 2013 until 2025, Tollcross Community Pastors met regularly to support local shopkeepers with training, friendship and more, working together for the local community.

Though the dedicated team has now disbanded, their work leaves a blueprint for mission and service. TCP modelled how to connect: with consistency, sensitivity and love. We are encouraged to follow their example - stepping out in practical love to serve our neighbours. The legacy is the call to every church member to continue building bridges of friendship in the Tollcross community.

Purpose:
To serve the people through good works (faith in action), friendship and pastoral care and by praying for our community.

Aim:
To shine as a light for the people of the local community, that they might see Christ’s love reflected in us and want to know more of God.

Focus:
On shopkeepers; shoppers; commuters; homeless people; anyone else passing through this community.
