Jenga Christmas Gift
We’ve all got that one person who’s impossible to buy for. Another jumper, perfume or scarf… will they really want it?
This year, why not give them something that truly matters: the joy of knowing a life has been changed in their name. Give a gift that’s genuinely special.
Suubi House is a rehabilitation home for young street men who have lived an impoverished lifestyle since birth. The most vulnerable boys are offered a two-year sponsored programme including an intensive vocational apprenticeship (car and motor bike repair, mobile phone repair, metal fabrication, etc.) to give them the chance to get a job. An on-site nurse, project manager and four social workers give each boy the best chance of transitioning back into society as contributing members. Reconciliation with their family and village is a key mandate of the project.
The current cohort of boys is due to graduate in mid-2026 and the goal is to get them ‘home for the holidays’ by this Christmas!
We thank God that Jenga currently has a 90% success rate in reconciling the boys with their families and taking and keeping them back home. A gift of any size will make a big difference.
Any gift of any size is a blessing but for reference:
£30 would sponsor one boy’s accommodation, evening meal, and medical needs at Suubi House for one month.
£50 would sponsor one boy’s vocational training (auto and motor bike repair, mobile phone repair, metal fabrication, etc.) for one month, including lunch at the training centre.
£100 would cover one boy’s graduation package with tools to start their businesses.
