On Saturday 6th September a group of us from the Net went for an afternoon stroll through the Hermitage of Braid. The children on bikes got the most exercise and the rest of us went at a slower toddler pace! It wasn’t a very long walk but a nice chance for a chat. We then all went to the Braidburn park where there was a fun afternoon with bouncy castles, raft building, a pipe band, the duck race and the chance to climb on board a fire engine! Everyone had a good afternoon, the children in particular! It was a nice chance to catch up with each other even though we all got separated fairly quickly in the crowds of Braidburn park!
