PROFILE OF THE NEW EDITOR
As you may know I am stepping into the new editor role at Barclay Viewforth and I thought you might want to know a little about me.
I was born in Haiti but lived in Paris from the age of 4. My family is still living in Paris. I am the youngest of 3 daughters and I have 7 nieces and nephews. After my French Baccalaureate in Languages and Literature, I studied Japanese at University where I obtained a Diploma.
I came to Scotland almost 16 years ago with my previous work in the airline industry. This was meant to be a 1 year assignment but 16 years on I am still here. Three years ago I completed a Degree in Business Management at Napier University.
Before coming to Barclay Viewforth I went to two churches which helped me in my journey of re-discovering God’s Love and Mercy. Like many people I have had my ups and downs and I ended up not going to church for a little while, whilst my husband continued to go to church.
My husband visited Barclay Viewforth one day on the advice of one of his friend to view the architecture. He immediately felt a connection and enticed me to attend a service. Sam’s sermon resonated with me as they are pertinent and always leave a matter to ponder about . I continued attending and developed many friendships. The church became our ‘’home’’ and Alan and I married at Barclay Viewforth in 2014.
In my spare time I enjoy going for walks, going to galleries , museum and cycling. I also enjoy cooking for family and friends.
I look forward to carrying out the role as the editor.
